  • National Minimum Wage compliance – Kernow LMC webinar

National Minimum Wage compliance is a major area of focus for HMRC. It can be complicated and understanding the rules and how to avoid inadvertent errors is key to ensuring employers meet their obligations. Many of those employers named and shamed in the past have made ‘technical errors’, rather than deliberately under-paying their employees.

This webinar – hosted by Kernow LMC, in conjunction with Albert Goodman, on Thursday, 26 March, from 1-2pm – will addresses some of those errors and cover:

The different categories of workers for NMW purposes and how this impacts the way in which you check that you are compliant with NMW.

HMRC’s current approach, including ‘nudge letters’ and common errors which can lead to non-compliance.

Tips for checking NMW and (if necessary) self-correction.

How we can ensure that we remain compliant with what are complicated rules.

The webinar costs £20 per person. To register and receive the Teams meeting link, please email: rich@kernowlmc.co.uk by noon on Tuesday, 24 March.
