Aim of the Course: By the end of this workshop delegates should have improved their understanding of medical terminology and the systems within the body. They should be able to use this knowledge at work to enhance their understanding of terms and abbreviations which in turn will increase effectiveness and job satisfaction.

| Course Overview:
· Overview of word structures and how they are made up · Cardiovascular System · Blood and the Lymphatic System · Digestive System · Respiratory System · Urinary System · Nervous System · The Sensory Organs · Muscular & Skeletal System · Reproductive System · Endocrine System · Tests and abbreviations At the end of each section delegates will work together to do small quizzes and challenges to aid their understanding and make the course as interactive as possible. All delegates registering will receive information sheets and a workbook which they will need to participate in the workshop. The cost is £50 per delegate.
