Improving Skin Cancer Detection in Primary Care

October 8 @ 6:45 pm - 8:00 pm BST

Free
The Mole Clinic is running a free CPD webinar for GPs and practice teams on 8 October.
Skin Cancer in a Nutshell is a 75 minute session on the everyday decision a GP faces with a pigmented lesion: reassure, treat, or refer. It covers the clinical and dermoscopic features that separate benign from malignant lesions, management of precancerous lesions such as actinic keratoses, practical tips on teledermoscopy, and time for questions.
The session is presented by Dr Tim Cunliffe, a GPwER in Dermatology and Skin Surgery, Skin Cancer Lead for the Department of Dermatology at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, author of the Primary Care Dermatology Society website (pcds.org.uk) and a former Executive Chair of the Society. Tim is also Joint Medical Director of The MOLE Clinic, which funds the Dermoscopy Foundation.
There is no charge and no commercial content. Most GPs self-certify one CPD credit per hour. Practice nurses, ANPs and other colleagues who see skin complaints are welcome.
The session takes place on Thursday, 8 October, 2026, from 6.45pm to 8.00pm, online via Microsoft Teams.
